Elemental Yoga Workshop & Herbal Tea Ceremony
Jan

Elemental Yoga Workshop & Herbal Tea Ceremony

Join us at the Fox Den Cafe for a nourishing yoga workshop that invites you to move, breathe, and rest in harmony with the five elements.

In this embodied practice, we’ll explore Earth, Water, Fire, Air, and Ether as living qualities within the body — grounding, flowing, activating, opening, and integrating. Through a yoga flow, intentional breathwork, and spacious pauses, you’ll be invited to notice which elements feel abundant and which are asking for support.

The yoga flow will be accessible to all levels, with an emphasis on sensation, presence, and connection rather than performance. Each section of the practice will be paired with breath techniques that mirror the elemental qualities — from grounding breaths that settle the nervous system to expansive breathing that creates lightness and space.

Following our practice, we’ll gather for a guided herbal tea ceremony, where we’ll sip a carefully crafted blend inspired by the elements.

Bringing your own mat is required!

This workshop will be 90 minutes long, so bringing any props that might help you be more comfortable, such as a blanket to support your joints, is recommended. This workshop is a $35 investment per person. However, if you are a student or would like to discuss sliding scale options, please email me at caroline@waterlilyyoga.com. I want everyone who feels called to be able to attend, so please don’t hesitate to reach out.

Registration required, limited spots! Sign up HERE

Winter Solstice Yoga Workshop & Herbal Tea Ceremony

Winter Solstice Yoga Workshop & Herbal Tea Ceremony

As the light softens and the longest night of the year arrives, we gather in quiet celebration — to pause, reflect, and gently turn inward. This Winter Solstice Yoga Workshop and Herbal Tea Ceremony is an invitation to honor the cyclical nature of life, the beauty of stillness, and the light that patiently waits to return.

We’ll begin with grounding breathwork to settle into presence, followed by a gentle, heart-opening yoga flow designed to warm the body from within and cultivate spaciousness in both movement and mind. Through mindful asana and breath, we’ll explore themes of release, rest, and renewal — letting go of what is ready to fall away as we make room for what’s to come.

The workshop will be integrated with guided journaling. This will encourage reflection on the turning of the seasons within and around us, deepening our connection to community and to ourselves. The experience will close with a shared herbal tea ceremony — tea blend specifically curated by me with a delicious blend of warming (non-caffeinated) herbs. This ceremony will represent a simple, sacred act of slowing down together, savoring warmth, and welcoming the returning light.

Come as you are — to breathe, move, connect, and honor the quiet wisdom of winter.

$40 per person. Event takes place at Source Point Acupuncture. You can bring your own yoga mat, but mats will also be provided. Registration is required and there are limited spots so claim yours now!
